Privacy Policy
We build ColiMail so that your inbox stays yours. This policy explains how we handle your data inside the app and on our website.
Zero Cookies
The colimail.com website does not set cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics identifiers. We store nothing in your browser beyond the assets required to render this page.
Local-First Storage
All email metadata and content lives in SQLite databases on your device. Nothing is synced to our servers.
Open Source Transparency
Every privacy-relevant line of code is available on GitHub under the MIT License so you can audit our claims.
Data Storage
- Email bodies, attachments, and metadata are written to local SQLite databases on your machine.
- Passwords and OAuth tokens are stored in the operating system keychain (Windows Credential Manager, macOS Keychain).
- We never see or collect your email content, credentials, or personal data.
No Telemetry or Analytics
- No usage statistics, crash logs, or behavioral analytics are collected.
- The application operates offline once your accounts are configured.
- There are no third-party SDKs or trackers embedded in ColiMail.
Network Connections
- Direct IMAP and SMTP connections to the mail providers you configure.
- OAuth flows with Google or Microsoft only when you initiate sign-in.
- Optional update checks that you can disable at any time.
Cookies & Website Analytics
ColiMail.com does not use cookies, local storage, session storage, analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or fingerprinting technologies. Visiting this site leaves no persistent data in your browser beyond cached static assets served directly from our CDN.
Because we do not set cookies or load optional scripts, you do not need to opt-in to anything. The site functions the same for every visitor—fast, private, and anonymous.
